Lift up your eyes

John 4:35
There is as much encouragement form a move of God and for a spiritual revival as there is for a farmer to raise a crop “Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest” (v.)35)

The gospel can make an immediate impression on the hearts of people “Come, see a man, which told me all things that even I did: is not this the Christ.” (v.29

The people of Samaria were wicked and ignorant people.

Who would think that these people would be touched by the gospel. Yet these people heard the voice of Jesus.

We are to expect revival. Revival came through Jesus.

Great numbers were excited, moved and came to learn of the way of Christ “And many believed “ (v.41)

We never know how much good may be done through one single individual “ Now we believe,” (V.42)

What evils may follow from neglecting to do our duly, Jesus was weary, He was hunger, He was in need of drink, yet need of the people was greater “Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white all ready to harvest.” (V.35)

It was esteemed improper to converse with a woman of her nature.

Jesus saw the woman heart, he saw she was read to receive light.

Jesus healed the blind man because he saw the real desire of his heart. “And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that taketh with thee.” (Jh. 9:27)

To Saul Jesus said,“I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.” it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.”(Acts 59:5)

The scripture declares,“ Let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not” (Gal.6:9) 1/28/3016
